1,673WG has tried to sell the Submarines as some sort of vulnerable class (as they should be), but what we have in the game is an absurdly tanky ship that appears to have built in French saturation when at periscope depth. This makes Submarines MORE resilient to shells than even the likes of Kleber, Elbing etc.
