Why was Dooku’s Lightsaber so dangerous?
Despite being a highly respected and well regarded Jedi Master, Count Dooku crafted one of the most deadly and dangerous Lightsabers in history.
This stemmed from the fact that in his early years as a Jedi, he developed a deep love of the Lightsaber form known as Makashi, and discovered that he had huge talent in duelling other jedi. This was unusual, as the Galaxy was in a state of peace at this time, and most Jedi chose to strengthen their connection with the force, rather than focus on combat, because it really wasn’t needed.
As part of this journey to reach the peak of lightsaber duelling skill, Dooku went deep into the Jedi archives in search of even the slightest advantage he could get over his opponents. The curve made dooku’s swing angles completely unpredictable, and greatly enhanced his strength and precision, making him one of the greatest Jedi and later Sith duellists to ever live…
