The Only Lightsaber Move FORBIDDEN by BOTH Jedi AND Sith - Star Wars #shorts
The ONLY LIghtsaber form forbidden by BOTH the Jedi and Sith.
Despite the fact that Lightsabers duels are literally a deathmatch between two powerful opponents, not all moves are considered fair or proper. In fact there was one lightsaber form that was flat out REJECTED by Both the Sith and Jedi Orders.
This move was known as Trakata, and has been used almost since the first retractable lightsaber was created. The move entails turning one’s lightsaber on an off in the middle of a fight to break saber locks, and trick the opponent.
The move was considered unfair and dishonourable by both major force orders, with the Jedi Believing it to be too aggressive, and the sith believing it showed weakness.
As a result, it was forbidden and rejected by both the Sith and Jedi.
