I've found a community hack that was released by someone who knows what they're doing (more so than the game developers). It lets users with older CPUs like me play the Cyberpunk 2077 without crashes in the same places, like the Corpo Office or leaving the bar in Street Kid. The key is to not use something called AVX instructions, which pre-2013 CPUs don't understand. Cyberpunk was compiled assuming all CPUs would understand this instruction set, but clearly that's not the case. This patch skips those instructions, making older CPUs happy.
