Why Don't We do more NEGATIVE Reviews?
It seems like negative reviews get more views, so why don't we do more of them? This gets to the heart of not only how we view games, but the values we want to instill in our kids.

This is a pretty real conversation about our philosophy behind the kinds of reviews that we do. There's a perception out there that negative reviews are more honest, and that's really not the case. For us there's a few factors involved. We would much rather share a game that we love, that we hope you will love too - than spend time telling you about a game we didn't like, because in order to tell you we didn't like it, we feel the burden to give the boardgame a fair shot, which means playing it, and when there's so many great games out there, we don't really want to spend our limited time and energy playing games we don't like.
We are also doing our best to raise kind, caring, considerate children who understand that the words they say matter, and that even if you don't like something, you can still be constructive in your criticism. These are games that people poured their heart and soul into and we want to respect that, and if they do have a negative opinion, we want to teach them to share it in a way that is still helpful.
There's a lot more to it, but you'll have to watch the video for that!
Here is Alex from @BoardGameCo, it’s a great one to watch as well:
