Why Dungeons Used to Terrify Me in WoW (And How I Got Over It)
In this video, I share my personal journey of overcoming dungeon anxiety in World of Warcraft. For years, I avoided group content like dungeons and raids because of the fear of making mistakes and the pressure to perform. As a visually impaired player, this added an extra layer of challenge, making me feel anxious about joining groups.
But after years of avoiding dungeons, I finally took the leap and even went from avoiding them to healing and tanking. I talk about what held me back, how I got over it, and why the right mindset made all the difference.
Whether you’ve struggled with group content in WoW or you’re curious about how to face your own challenges in games (and life!), I hope this video encourages you to take that first step. It’s not always easy, but with persistence and a bit of support, you can break through those mental barriers.
