Exit speed is king in karting. Of course there is a limit to how much you slow down on entries to maximize rotation, but if you play your cards right, a quick driver has no way of overtaking on the brakes with the right track layout. This becomes especially important on tracks with long straights because you can mitigate the effects of the slipstream by pulling a gap early out of the corner. Are you last of the late-brakers, or traction-maximizer?
