When I play my Gravekeeper's deck, I always choose to go first when I can. This video will show two dueling examples of why I do that.
Necrovalley by itself can shut down or at least slow down many decks by itself. Add Royal Tribute to that, and many big combo decks can do extremely little to fight you. Royal Tribute is in my deck at 3 copies, and is most useful on the opening turn, when I go first. Necrovalley is at 3 copies. I have 7 cards that can seach for Necrovalley, giving me a 25% chance to draw a card every turn that is or could 'turn into' Necrovalley.
