Why I changed my Intel 13700K to AMD 7800X3D | Latency Issues
1,333This has been bothering me for years and I hoped that the 13700K would resolve it, but unfortunately not. It seems to be a trend on Intel CPUs these days. Even the Ryzen CPUs seem to have a bit of latency, they're not quite as "snappy" as the Intel 10850K or 11900K (other CPUs I've used), so how are we going backward with this aspect of CPUs?
Just wanted to bring some light to it because as someone who moves around folders a lot and edits videos, the latency was causing me issues, especially during editing, and totally worth upgrading to a Ryzen 7800X3D.

So if you're trying to decide and want to edit and have a "snappy" PC, I'd recommend going AMD Ryzen for now. Haven't tried other chips, but 7800X3D seems solid. You can watch some reviews on Tech Yes City for that too!
