This scene perfectly demonstrates why it is that I love Black Mesa: source. There is absolutely no editing done to this scene, aside from a fade in and fade out. Black Mesa has a habit of taking events from the original game, and making them a hundred times more impressive -- in this case, it demonstrates how you can influence a player to feel emotion over destroying an otherwise menacing creature without clubbing them over the head and saying "YOU SHOULD FEEL BAD ABOUT THIS BECAUSE WE SAID SO".
