As someone who uses Linux and tries to promote free and open source software. It is pretty odd that I still use Facebook. So why?

Well as someone who is trying to make YouTube into a viable long-term career. I need to be able to maximize the exposure my content will get. So Facebook is a great place to get discovered, I'm comfortable with the loss of privacy just like I am with being a YouTube creator.

So should you use Facebook in 2020 or anytime for that matter. Well as much as we like comparing Facebook to the devil. In all reality if your okay with using Facebook, then use it! Also if your thinking about creating a Facebook.. As long as you treat it like all the information you give them is not private then your going to be set up for a good time on the platform.
