html5 http://www.netbooknews.com Intel has had a vested interest in this open source operating system since it was Moblin in 2007. Intel dropping MeeGo seems very unlikely for a few reasons. If you look at the over all ecosystem there are seuveral manufacturers that are building their own operating system. To name a few Samsung has already deployed Bada, Baidu has just announced Baidu Yi & LG has jumped on the same band wagon. These companies are making moves regardless of the fact that their product will make it to market it years behind iOS, Android or WP7. The research and development required for Intel, Samsung, LG, Baidu invest in a forked or independent O/S.
