A report as come out about Mortal Kombat 1 that Netherrealm Studios (NRS) may indeed be ending support for mk1 very soon making Mortal Kombat 1 have the shortest life cycle out of any Mortal Kombat game in the franchise. The report indicated that if it's true it may be an actual good thing that they're ending the cycle of Mortal Kombat 1 in hopes to come up with new ideas for the future of the franchise. The report also states that Warner Bros is taking the game under serious evaluation when it comes to its future which could mean anything at this point.
