100 days ago, my friend Eddie asked me to play The Longing with him. The longing is an idler game created by an independent game developer, Studio Seufz, where you play as a shadowy figure called shade and you're forced by a king to spend 400 days in an underground cave. The Longing uses real time as it's main mechanic for the player to explore the caves and discover hidden features around the map. The in-game timer moves faster if the Shade performs certain actions inside its home, such as decorating the walls with drawings, reading or playing music.

I haven't seen many videos talking about The Longing which is what compelled me to make this video. For a game so unique compared to all other games, it deserves a lot more praise. Be sure to like & subscribe, and thank you for watching!
