Why The Nier Replicant Remaster Has Me Excited
14NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139... is a remaster of the one of the original versions of NieR that released back in 2010. At the time of release it was a relatively obscure title that over time garnered somewhat of a cult following. Eventually an indirect sequel, NieR Automata, came out in 2017 and the franchise suddenly had a huge spotlight on it. This made many people curious about the origins of the NieR series. Unfortunately, the original NieR games did not age well at all which made most people stay far away from NieR Replicant and NieR Gestalt. This remake or remaster is finally going to give people the chance to play a more modern take on this classic PS3 title. I know I am very excited to dive back into a Yoko Taro game as he has such a distinct style of directing a game.
