Final Fantasy 7 Remake was one of the most controversial games of 2020, and that's saying something! The comparisons to the original FF7 were expected, but the level of analysis and scrutiny Final Fantasy VII Remake was subject to during review was quite astounding. Today, I want to make the case that this is a great game! I've played the original as well as every other mainline final fantasy game, and still I believe this to be true. Despite its' flaws, FF7R is a fantastic game the expands upon the original in almost every single way. Remember this is my own opinion and nothing I really say in this video is objective fact. I just wanted to take a little retrospective look at one of my favorite games of the year.
