As you can see in this video, the In-Game Time does not accurately reflects real time in this game. Because when everytime you get de-sync (Dead, be detected, lost your target, etc.) the In-Game Time will also turn back to last checkpoint. And also, some of cutscenes will not be timed, mainly refer to those memories have full synchronization conditions require you to finish within a time.

In short, the In-Game Time in this game is defective. It is not suitable to be used in speedrun, whether it is Single-Segment or Segment.

The only concern is about use real-time with a timer will brings SSD more advantages. That's true, the loading time on SSD is shorter than HDD. When a same loading scene on HDD is 10s, then it would be 6 or 7s on SSD. But, after we distinguish between them in different categories, it's no longer a problem. Doesn't it?
