Why You Should Collect for the PS3 in 2022
70The PS3 is still a worthy system to collect for in spite of the fact that it is extremely unlikely these game discs ever receive native backward compatibility support.
While this backward compatibility has caused the price of Xbox 360 versions of nearly all cross-platform games to be higher, PS3 had remained a good value platform.
Not to mention that these games are on Blu-Ray, rather than DVD and thus seem to be more durable, just like the PS3 itself.
Most of all though, this generation of consoles marked the end of a few nostalgic game types. NCAA sports, competition among sports games in general, and even the slew of license games we used to frequently receive.
