Modern kid's movies, shows, and games are heavily dependent on nostalgia. Frequent reboots of popular franchises from the 90s and 2000s, and overall I am left with a feeling that we do not have many ORIGINAL franchises.

Using nostalgia to drive an older audience back to the theaters for Lightyear and attracting the young kids in the target audience is great... but these young kids do not have the same attachment to the franchises. Will they feel nostalgia in 20 years for something that was nothing more than a reboot when they first saw it? This remains to be seen, but regardless I hope my child can grow up with an ORIGINAL franchise that is meaningful to them and their generation.

I've been making videos on this channel since 2013. A lot has changed since then, but today I make videos for the same reason someone may keep a diary.

It's to track and chronicle the things I am interested in at various points of my life. These videos are something for me to be able to look back on.

So why are you here? Because video games are fun and worth sharing! If that's a journey you want to be a part of, like the video and subscribe to the channel.
