Is nostalgia in gaming a bad thing? In today's video I talk about nostalgia in relation to video games and how it can prevent you from enjoying new experiences. Nostalgia in and of itself is actually awesome, being able to look back at the past and finding things you enjoy is great. It only becomes a problem when you become cynical in a way that prevents you from enjoying anything new. It's no secret that a lot of modern game design choices are hurting player experience in favor of monetization.
