14Why You wouldn't survive In The Mist | A Lovecraftian Cosmic Horror story
If you are a fan of Lovecraftian Cosmic Horror & Stephen King's The Mist, then you might like my concept short story.
These are the Eldritch monsters I designed through Midjourney that lurk inside the Mist.
The mist is the veil between our world & their worlds, they are many different creatures from different parallel realities.
The first set of monsters are my favorite since they are completely abstract creatures that upon looking at them, even though they are not giants, they are around our size , some are larger & some are smaller but all live on higher dimensions than us. Each is capable of attacking us not only physically but they can assault us on a psychological & spiritual level. They are the masters of our terror.
There are higher beings as well that are nearly God like since they can create pocket dimensions to trap us in where we can do battle with them for all eternity as we live & die lives over & over. This is a story that has no end & does not end well for humanity.
Don't forget, there are also dangers like the Death Cults of the Eldritch.
This is why you wouldn't survive the creatures inside the Mist.
This is the rough outline for the short story.
