Hello YouTube! SSGL here. We go 3v3 Co-op at (2:27) in our first of two basic Elimination mode matches with the AI Bots set on the easiest difficulty setting for starters.
First team to win the first two of the three matches, wins. We practice with team communication; well, sort of. 😏
When one gets eliminated, one respawns with what ammo remains, unless one goes back to base to replenish which takes longer.
One cool thing about this game is the ability to set up one's own map via the field editor. A small canvas was used here (good for small 3v3s) with all 50 pieces placed (game's max), mostly wall rock like segments with a few log sets and a single car wreck in the center. I designed this map for slower, more tactical play using paintball guns/pistols that have the clip as opposed to the much larger 'drum' magazine. Aim carefully to conserve ammo. Use cover wisely.
Larger canvases are available for the mid 5v5s and big 7v7 battles.
There is a catch; the number of available modes playable on custom maps goes down to 2, Capture the Flag being the other one. The paint grenade becomes unavailable for some reason, even if one activates it in the set-up menu.
In news bits pertaining this game, I found out there's a sequel in the works. Certainly worth looking if they preserve the splitscreen and bot features.
Anyways, it looks like YouTube has gotten an upgrade regarding how one can organize one's channel. In my mobile device here, I can now see a message saying that I can go to my computer to create 'sections'. Would have to wait til I go home to find out what that is all about. 😐
