Hello YouTube, SSGL here. We kick off our 4-vid, 2-player Uplink series by us teaming up against bots on regular difficulty.

Since this was our first time playing this mode, we ended up struggling during the first half. But did managed to pull ourselves together during the second.

I came to Uplink thinking Capture the Flag. So when the difference of how the two objectives are carried camed in (flag on back while satellite on hand) I needed to do the related adjustments on the fly: can't fire any weapons. One's weapon/ability turns off and won't reactivate after dropping the satellite. Instead, one has to refill the portion of the meter that was used prior to picking up the objective . Can't open Care Packages either.

But in exchange to all that, one's running speed is increased and I noticed that an armor health bar appeared. Looks like one becomes a bit more resilient. Didn't noticed any changes on thruster movement.

Lastly, the delivery area is suspended in the air instead of on the ground. Throwing it in there nets 1 point, while jumping with objective in hand to it nets 2.

Once all these details came together for us, we where able to set our pace where I was able to use the Sparrow and Dart Scorestreak effectively to cover my teammate.

The Sparrow as opposed to the War Machine, is a precision explosive weapon. Little zoom in yes, but rather easy to aim I thought. Nice for getting consecutive kills. Am guessing the 200% health set up prevented the victims from being flung into the air when hit, as that is what's supposed to happen with one gets hit by the Sparrow.

The Dart is one of more favorite Scorestreaks, for this kind of play at least. Back in the original Black Ops days, I thought the Valkyrie Missile launcher was awesome for digging out one of the guys here who happens to be a camper! With Black Ops 2, I lost the ability of control with the Hunter Killer drone. Now, not only I can control it again, it comes with 3 mini missiles to boot, with the 200% health still not being enough to withstand a hit. Groovy. True, there's the Talon. But that's more costly.

Well, the situation involving the ElGato and all related equipment is settling down, so am glad for that. Some issues over where one of SSGL's Crewmember lives...

Overwatch by Blizzard is now available. There's hope splitscreen may be added even if its later rather than sooner. Heard Blizzard responded positively to the idea of implementing the feature in Co-op fashion. However, I think if splitscreen is added, it should only be available when playing with AI Bots, which I heard the game has. Those two features go so well hand in hand. Nice job by those who have cosplayed it's characters by the way. 😃
