Wii Metroid Prime: Trilogy G34, 1st Campaign pt28 1/2: Into the Phazon Mines!
Into the Phazon Mines I went, where I definitely faced tougher and more aggressive Space Pirates. This one did took time, and thus the video is divided into 2 parts. Vid timeline:
(0:00) Intro and en route to Phazon Mines.
(7:31) Phazon Mines' Quarry Access and Main Quarry.
(14:58) Security Access A, Mine Security Station and Security Access B.
First, cloaked Pirates armed with close combat weapons attacked. Those fellows reminded me of the invisible Elites with Energy Swords from Halo.
Then tougher purple colored Pirates pirates arrived. Because I use the Wave Beam on them, they went down. And I didn't scanned them either. This meant that I didn't realized being able to defeat them, depends on using the right weapon against the right enemy until much later on.
(26:30) Elite Research and Research Access.
First evidence of the super Elite Pirates uncovered. These brutes are said to be armed with an absolute arsenal of weapons. But on the other hand, they are slow.
Yellow or Power Pirates make an appearance. But despite this, I didn't realized I was able to defeat them because I happened to have the right weapon in hand.
This features a mining beam that needs to be manipulated and used to gain access to other areas.
(43:53) Ore Processing part 1 of 2.
The Power Pirates' ambush here hit me hard as this time, I had the wrong weapon. Wave Beam shots just bounced off. Was able to pull myself together and dispatch them with Super Missiles. Although I still wasn't clear as to what or why things when down the way that did.
In this room there's a type of puzzle in the shape of a tower divided into segments. Segments much be aligned in a way that the Magnetic Rails in them align to give access to higher areas.
As I trying to work things out, I failed to realize I could use the holographic representation of the Tower next to the power slot to aid me...
