Wii Play Motion - Cone Zone - Scoop Mode - Maximum Height Reached!
This is Cone Zone's Scoop Mode in Wii Play Motion. In this mode, balance your ice cream by tilting the Wii Remote Plus left or right. As the ice cream gets taller, your balance will be difficult as you progress. The game ends if you fail to balance your ice cream at a certain point, or if you successfully reach the maximum height.
There are medals you can earn when you play this game. 20 scoops for bronze, 40 scoops for silver, 60 scoops for gold, and 80 scoops for platinum. 120 scoops is the max amount of scoops you can have on your ice cream in this solo player mode.
I came back to Wii Play Motion for this challenge. Someone requested me to try and clear this game with 120 scoops. I didn't want to do it at first because there wasn't any point in doing that if it just means improving my best score. Little did I know that there is an ending to this mode, and I was curious to see if I can at least reach to that point.
It took me days to do, literally several days. I completely underestimated how difficult of a challenge this is simply because your movement after a lot of scoops must be precise, and the balance of your Wii Remote Plus has to be close to perfect to make it this high.
Getting to at least 80 to 90 scoops is doable when done consistently with skill and strategy, but any scoops after 90 is when the game turns into RNG because the bigger scoops of ice cream can push your ice cream from one side to another so quickly that there is nothing you can do to react to that and it ends your run. Not only that, but you have a small window of a few frames past 100 scoops to know exactly when to tilt left and right on your Wii Remote Plus, because timing it a tad early or a tad late can also end your run.
This challenge is very difficult, but short. I really don't like that after 100 scoops turns into RNG because of the bigger scoops of ice cream. Aside from that, it was an alright challenge.
