"Wii U is NOT a Wii upgrade, it's a NEW system!" says Nintendo (Is Nintendo getting desperate? Lmao)
So in their attempt to sell more Wii U systems, Nintendo has reached out to original Wii owners and market their new generation console as more than a mere "Wii upgrade". Apparently, people out there still think Wii U is just a simple "Wii with touchpads" instead of a different, HD console comparable to 360 and PS3. Plus, does Nintendo need to go darker with their exclusives such as Mario, Pokemon, and Zelda? Link to Wii U article: http://www.gamespot.com/news/nintendo-wii-u-not-just-an-upgrade-6407798
