Wii U update 5.0.0 fails to install - error code 162-3006
22HELP NINTENDO!?
I'm having a problem when I try to update to 5.0.0. and it's getting really annoying. I download the update and it usually takes about 30 minutes. When it gets to the install screen it'll get to 80-100% and then it prompts me with error code 162-3006. I've tried this going on ten times now and it's the same thing every time. I've also had the console shut itself down at random times during the download process. I've called Nintendo customer support and they said it might be a network error (which I doubted). They got a networking specialist to setup my router for the Wii U by opening ports,NATs blah.blah.blah. Still same thing 162-3006. He gave me two options if that didn't work try downloading from a different location and reformat the Wii U. I've read on here - http://techforums.nintendo.com/message/132323#132323 that even reformatting wont fix the issue. So I guess I wont be purchasing Mario kart 8 this weekend.
