2***UPDATE*** Since filming this, I've learned that several more major conventions have been canceled, including Privateer Press' Lock & Load and San Diego Comic Con, which was scheduled only 3 days prior to GenCon.
The current global health situation at hand has affected many of our day to day lives in countless ways, and will no doubt continue to do so well into the foreseeable future. Though gaming is not as vital as the mortgage, the car in the driveway, or the food in the fridge, it is something that we hold dear, something that adds to the joy and happiness we experience in life, and for some, it may be the only escape available from troubling times such as these. So what happens if it goes away? What happens if the changes that the world is about to face, likely for next few years at the very least, reduce gaming culture and gaming in general to a mere crumb of the feast of entertainment that it once was?
