I grew up with the THPS games alongside all the other series I've mentioned before, so when I heard that a new THPS game was in development, a whopping THIRTEEN YEARS after the last one, I of course got excited.

However, my joy came slowly to a halt when I realized, 1.) this was being done by "modern-day" Activision, and 2.) they've claimed this newest installment is going to be more community- and Internet-based. With this in mind, my main question is this: will these factors help improve or damage the experience of this game, especially for long-time veterans like yours truly? What do you think?
