Will VR tourism be better than a museum ? - GamerMuscle Virtual Reality
Roman Pantheon VR Is an incredible Oculus rift DK2 demo made by user hexagon99 over at the Oculus Developer Forums.
Though the recreation of the Pantheon in this demo is somewhat sparse and features low resolution textures, its a powerful example of the potential when it comes to VR tourism and VR exhibits of real world items and locations.
I'm sure those with the money and health will always want to go to the real place to visit buildings, attractions and historical sites but VR makes these places accessible for those that would never experience them otherwise.
I truly hope that VR creates even more enthusiasms and appreciation for history. I can really see a future where VR environments help inspire and make education far more interesting, "real" and memorable for younger generations.
Thanks for reeding and watching the video if you enjoy'd it you know what to do.
