IMO : I love my Pixel Platformers ... if they are done right ... 3D-ing kills the art side that sells those ... since those 3D assets can be outdated in a flash ... when 2D stylized graphics are not , hence this is why Oddworld Abe in 2D was Golden ... but in 3D nope , it lost its charm ...
