I reached my goal time of sub-7, so I'll probably move on to another category for now. I've found this category fun to learn and really challenging to actually do. This run does have quite a few big mistakes and a very disappointing last two hours overall, but it's good progress for only having been running the game for a month and a half. Also gg to @minimini352, who PBed and improved the world record for this category by 5 minutes during this run.

To answer some questions I think I might see:
- The speedrunning community allows for an intro skip hack that skips the first three and a half minutes of the opening lore cutscene, which is why my timer starts where it does.
- MSS (manual superswim) is a trick that skips Outset Island at the beginning of the game by turning around in the water 200+ times manually (usually pause buffered) to build speed for a superswim to Dragon Roost to get the Wind Waker right away. For 100%, it means returning to Outset later to get required things, but it ends up skipping a lot of cutscenes and changing the early game route in a few other ways as well.
- Nobody has thoroughly measured how much time MSS saves for this category, but the rough estimate given to me is 10 minutes (done well). I don't do MSS because I find it unpleasant to perform.
- Nobody has thoroughly measured how much time using the Tingle Tuner saves for this category, either. The biggest single timesave using it enables is Early Earth Temple, which skips getting Medli, saving around 7 minutes directly. There are also a number of other, smaller tuner-based timesaves throughout the run, so I'd give this a rough estimate of 10 minutes (done well) as well. I don't use the Tingle Tuner because I don't own a Gameboy Advance, which is necessary for using the in-game item.
- (This does not mean I would have saved a full 20 minutes on this run if I'd done MSS and used the Tingle Tuner, as I probably would have made mistakes with both.)
