Windows 2000 on a Nintendo Entertainment System!
Apparently, this is a Chinese bootleg pirate cartridge ROM of what's apparently called "Windows 2000" for the Nintendo Entertainment System (Famicom). Which is odd, because normally Windows 2000 is like 1GB - how could they compress it down to 512KB?
You'll notice some graphics corruption, as this seems to only happen when you put it in PAL mode in a emulator. NTSC removes that corruption, but some of the icons are cut off. I also disabled the sound, because that music just didn't sound right.
The DOS prompt may be hard-coded to use a chinese Famicom keyboard, because it took me forever to work out how to type dir - the keyboard input is mangled (when I used the "FAMILY BASIC" keyboard in the expansion port of Nestopia).
There's also some "hard lock" or "CPU Jam!" events that Nestopia reports when you try to use the office software. I believe it could also be made for use with the Famicom Disk System, so that's why it locks up. Dunno.
Oh well, at least it's a half-assed attempt of a clone by Bravesoft.
