Still using windows 7? Is using Windows 7 in 2019 still a good idea? don't know what to do? Microsoft are ending extend support on January 14 2020, so Windows 7 will no longer safe to use in 2020. I would say you are at risk now from malware and ransomware, Windows 7 was always easy to infected.

Whats my options?

1. Upgrade or Migrate to Windows 8/8.1 or Windows 10
2. Switch to Mac, Linux, Android, Chromebook or go off grid.
3. Pay Microsoft of 3 years of extra support (Very Expensive)
4. Continue to use Windows 7 (Very Risky)

Run Windows 10 Compatibility Appraiser manually

Open an command prompt with Admin rights, type the following command, and hit Enter:

schtasks.exe /Run /TN "\Microsoft\Windows\Application Experience\Microsoft Compatibility Appraiser"
