Windows Taskbar Search Highlights Bypasses Default Browser Settings
Here's how to configure or remove the new Search Highlights on the Windows taskbar. For some people, Search Highlights can be a great way to keep up on current news or events. But if you are a purist and want to minimize clutter on your Windows desktop, it's pretty easy to minimize its effects or hide this new 'feature'.
But be aware, Search Highlights doesn't use the Default Browser Settings set in your system. Instead, it always opens Edge with the results from Bing search.
