We installed a Ford AOD (automatic overdrive) transmission in our 1959 Ford Ranch Wagon. The park/neutral safety switch in the transmission is still wired into the 1987 Lincoln Town Car engine wiring harness from the donor car that provided our engine and transmission. Confused yet? I've also installed a complete chasis wiring harness from Kwik Wire. Now, all we need to do to make the reverse lights on the back of the car work is splice the Kwik Wire back-up light circuit into the Lincoln Town Car wiring harness at the point where it plugs into the transmission... it'll all make sense in the video... I hope.
