Haven't beaten this one myself, the beginning is going to be painful, just played enough to optimize graphics settings (Geralt's hair with hairworks looks worse than having it off, not having that on even if the monsters have sick hairworks, I know about the mod existing that has only the monster hair, but I'm not entirely convinced about the stability in the whole run with the GOTY edition, so I won't bother with it) and the like, because I know once I go too far into these types of games I never want to revisit it since I will know the direct consequences of my actions, character build (familiar with the previous, I'm pretty sure I know what will start being relevant more though) and the overall magic of the experience will disappear (felt awful to attempt going back to the previous two and quit after the prologue of 1), I will lose interest in a game that's less praised for pretty standard old-fast actual gameplay and has set the bars higher in the branch-y rich story and sandbox world departments. I need something to hold my interest like trying to learn the game mechanics more in-depth by doing exotic runs, 100% runs for games I can enjoy replaying a lot, and can't enjoy revisiting games that don't captivate me with the actual playing part of it anymore, I still pick the games on a personal level not en masse popular appreciation for all things AAA and don't think less or more of games that are panned or applauded immediately without trying them myself, so this is why this is quite blind. If people don't like this approach, I'm still playing it, albeit not publicly.
