Witchfire - Early Access Game Impressions
2Witchfire is a FPS Rogue-Lite set in a dark fantasy setting. Taking inspiration from many sources, including Rogue itself, the game is a fight for survival as you take on ever more difficult enemies as you seek to vanquish witches in the church's name.
But who's more evil -- the witches...or the church?
Created by The Astronauts, the company behind The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, the game uses similar approaches -- such as utilizing photogrammetry for highly realistic environments. We spend some time covering this approach, along with where you can find out more.

The game is currently available in Early Access on the Epic Games Store, and will eventually release out of early access on other platforms and stores beyond EGS (Steam, consoles, etc).
