Made by The Astronauts -- the small company who developed the wonderful The Vanishing of Ethan Carter -- Witchfire is an Early Access (still in development) FPS Roguelite set in a dark medieval universe.
You are going to die – a lot, but you are going to get stronger with every run as you build your character and stats.
Using & improving the technology and approaches they used on Ethan Carter, Witchfire is quite a wonderfully atmospheric – and pretty punishing – experience.
We’ll be putting together a more cohesive Impressions video soon, but before then will be releasing a series of videos showing (mostly) raw gameplay footage. There is the native 21x9 footage available, along with 16x9 crops.
