With Blues From Max ft. Max Qubit on Roland Fantom 8 and Aria Pro II Guitar
6Roland Fantom 8 project. But now running my 40 year old Aria Pro II guitar through the Audio Input and FX processor of the Roland Fantom 8. A try at Blues after a.o. Unterglimmerung and Stars shine Bright. I'm not a guitar player, never was, I'm keyboards/piano. But always found the instrument cool and bought one when I was a (poor) student. When I got my Fantom 8 some weeks ago, and seeing the Audio Input, I thought about connecting my old guitar to the input and see if I could run it through the fx and listen to it on my headphones. So, I dug up the instrument from the attic. The guitar had been waiting for 30+ years to be played on ... lost love? Anyway, I tuned the old strings, fiddled some with the connection/cable/setup and managed to do what I said above. Can I play guitar? Not good, but I manage to hit some strings. I setup a simple sweet blues tune on the Fantom, drums, bass, epiano, and guitar jam against that, trying to hit the right strings. No guitar player, 30 years without touching the beauty, now connected to the Fantom 8 ... and this is the result. And the mistakes ... that's ok:)
