So here's a fun fact about myself: When I was old enough to reach a keyboard, Wolfenstein 3D was the first game I ever played. So whenever I see mods based on it I just have to play them. So how does this one made in 1999 by the Wolf2Duke team hold up? Let's find out together!

Well, the first episode is alright. The sound effects, music and graphics from the original 1992 game certainly makes me feel all nostalgic. Most of the classic enemies are here, as well as WW2 tanks and a couple of the bosses. There's secrets to find and I never felt like I got too lost. It can get quite difficult at times due to the random bursts of high damage though. But I think the most annoying thing is that the doors in the dungeon only blow up when they want to. Oftentimes I just give up and noclip through them. But hey, things can only get better from here, right?
