May The 4th be with you, everyone! Four years ago I played a mod called Star Wars 3D. You may be interested to know that was just one of three Star Wars mods released as demos in 1999. That's because The Phantom Menace was coming to theaters, with a massive amount of hype behind it. I remember as a kid the commercials advertising it repeated on a never-ending loop reminding the fans and the kids to go spend all their money on movie tickets and the toys. Surely the movie was good right? Well, I'll continue the history lesson in the next video. In the meantime I'll clean my plate of these beta releases, starting with this one!

This mod was created by Skywalker and his team. Just like the other two mods it only features one level, this one being the sewers of theed. Honestly, being a brown sewer is appropriate for how I feel about this one. Sure, the pistol replacement and the robots look pretty cool, and there's two secrets to find. But both the music and the level design is kind of annoying. However the real mood killer is that there isn't any health pickups anywhere, and the developers expect you to swim great lengths with no scuba gear. I hate to think how hard this mod would have been if it was actually finished!
