Wolfenstein 3D (GBA) -- A Shitty Level Made Worse
20Yes, yes, I know. This is hardly the best way to show off just how crummy the GBA port of this game can get and could even be considered an unfair example, considering how much the original DOS executable also struggles to cope with so much shit on the screen at once (especially on this crappy level), BUT HOLY FUCKING HELL LOOK AT THAT FRAMERATE.
But whatever. This map was always shitty anyway, so might as well make it super-shitty, right?
For what it's worth, this port chugs to the point of playing at *seconds-per-frame* during the regular demos. Yes, that's right. The fucking DEMO MODE -- the thing which is supposed to show off what a game is capable of and entice you into buying it -- crawls to the point where it's literally showing what it CAN'T do. It's a warning not to even bother.
