So I have pondered for a long time making this video about sounds in the game, but I think we can accept at this point, this is not a bug in the game but something that is inherent in the engine and I assume can't be fixed. (I should clarify, it appears this exists in SD2 but not sure about WRD).

All the vets know about it, so I think its fair that everyone should know about it. It's not really some big secret, but unless you ask, you would likely never know.
