Woochi the Wayfarer - Reveal Trailer - PC/Console - Global
132Nexon and LoreVault just revealed a new Unreal Engine 5 AAA action game for PC and console based on famous Korean folklore, featuring the adventures of Jeon Woochi. The game is set during the Joseon dynasty in Korea (maybe you remember the Kingdom show?). There is no info about the game style other than action-adventure, so it might be another Soulslike or not... We'll see in the next trailers...
I think after Khazan, we can expect some good stuff from Nexon beyond their typical F2P live-service games. This game seems to have some budget; they already have Jung Jae-il on the team (also known for Okja, Parasite, and Squid Game BGM composer), and LoreVault also has some experts in Korean history and folklore, so we may expect some historical accuracy.
