Another shield done for the upcoming Baltic States Shield Pack.

The shield in the video is sporting the official coat of arms of Estonia. It was officially adopted in 1925, but had been in use in various forms since the danish invasion of 1219.
The three lions motif is in fact borrowed from danish king Valdemar's personal coat of arms.
If my cursory research is correct, the Estonian coat of arms was mostly limited to the the city of Tallinn/Reval for hundreds of years (since Estonia wasn't a polity until relatively recently). In that capacity, it survived Teuton, Swedish and Russian occupation, and was in fact the coat of arms of Swedish Estonia between 1561-1721 during which period it was a duchy. The twin branches beneath the lions are oak branches, the oak being the national tree of Estonia.

I'll try to include an extended and better researched summary in the product description by the time the shield pack is ready to be released.
