Making laborious progress on the Plague Riders. Ran into a bit of a wall enthusiasm-wise, slowing down work rate because I wasn't quite "feeling it".
It is a terrible cliché, but sometimes it helps to to take a step back when you get locked into a set of design ideas that turns out to not engender much enthusiasm (tunnel vision or however you want to put it).

I took a short break from the project, looked at some Games Workshop models to see how the pros do it, and now I feel somewhat inspired again. Pictured is another model somewhere halfway between sketch and finished article. There will be some changes and cleaning up done to it before release, but it's been a while since I published any progress reports so here goes anyway.
First part is the rider model, and second part is the rider model seated on its unofficial mount, the previously released Chaos Fleas.
