I didn't realize that there was a trick you can do with the Thief Ring on this boss, combining it with the Poison Cloud magic to slowly whittle away at his health. Honestly though, this boss is seemingly allergic to magic, so if you have the Crescent Scimitar upgraded, you can dodge a fair chunk of his attacks and stagger lock him for a few hits before running away.

You might think a ring of Flame Resistance will be helpful, but it honestly isn't. You're better off getting the flame retardant spell (Aqua Bubble?) and using that for some extra fire defense. Even then, there's still some physical damage to worry about.

Apparently fire bosses are not my thing. You might even say that they get me really FIRED up. Ha.
