Testing of Mark 45 5" gun on destroyer. The ship listens in on in-game fire support channel (JFSN) for call-for-fire orders from infantry units. For enemy units in close proximity, the ship will fire the gun in direct fire mode.

Unfortunately, the ship exceeds maximum # of shooters a unit is allowed to have in the game. Therefore, gun fire animation does not work (problem for another day :p), as we have to use the available animation slots for Mark41 VLS missile launches.
