Hey guys! It's time to dive into Azeroth once again with the amazing new Boralus Harbor theme from Battle for Azeroth!
The new zones in the game are absolutely stunning and the music to go alongside it is phenomenal as well. The Alliance areas in particular have this super sick pirate vibe to them with the Kul Tiras humans and their Freehold settlement.
Boralus' music captures that piratey vibe so perfectly and upon hearing the music from this city, I instantly knew that a metal cover was destined to happen. I'm hugely influenced by a lot of viking / folk / pirate metal bands such as Alestorm, Turisas, Ensiferum, etc etc so this felt so amazing to pay homage to this epic genre of metal.
This arrangement combines multiple shorter themes from the city into one metal banging arrangement and It was a blast to try to combine them to give the illusion of being one simultaneous song. Luckily all of the keys and melodies could remain the same as their E minor selves and we could be true to the original!
I hope you guys enjoy this pirate-y theme as much as I enjoyed making it. Thanks for watching!
